Avenger in
Sword Coast Legends is an
Ability tree only available to
Paladins. Avengers make a solemn commitment to punish those who have committed a grievous sin. With the righteous will of their gods behind them, these Paladins strike out against man and monster alike, using their abilities to weaken their foes and avenge those who have been wronged.
Avenger Abilities
Sign of Vulnerability
- Effect: You call down a holy power to brand your target. The target must make a DC 9 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the target becomes vulnerable to radiant damage for 20 seconds.

- Requirements: Level 3
- Cost: 1 Point

Deific Vengeance
- Effect: You call down holy wrath upon your target. The target must make a DC 9 Wisdom save or be weakened and take 2-13 Radiant damage. The weakened effect lasts for 20 seconds, causing them to deal half damage with physical attacks. If the target succeeds on the save, it takes only half damage.

Avenging Angel
- Effect: You assume the form of an angelic avenger. Wings sprout from your back and you gain +50% move speed, +25% action speed and a+6 Strength bonus for 20 seconds.

- Requirements: Heroism, Deific Vengeance & Level 13
- Cost: 3 Points

Heroism
- Effect: Constant fighting has honed your usage of weapons, allowing for one extra attack each round.
- Type: Passive
- Requirements: Level 7
- Cost: 2 Points

Retribution
- Effect: The very fabric of your being is bathed in radiance, giving you a +1 bonus to Radiant damage and causing attackers to take 1-2 Radiant damage any time they touch you.
