Eldinger is a

A band of adventurers was given a magical halberd as they set out to end the rule of the blue dragon Eldingar. When the wyrm turned its lightning breath upon them, the halberd's blade absorbed the deadly arc. Since that encounter, the weapon (now called Eldingar) has possessed the ability to summon lightning to strike its targets.
