East Catacombs is a Location in Sword Coast Legends. Locked away beneath mausoleums and crypts lies a vast network of hallways and corridors meant to be the final resting places of the dead.
The purpose of their labyrinthine design is two-fold. First, they dissuade would-be graverobbers from disturbing the dead and secondly, they trap any corpses that awaken into undeath.

This area isn't too large. There are a few packs of Undead around, but not many. Lots and lots of hidden items so be sure to use Search liberally.
