Bear Trap is an Ability in Sword Coast Legends.
Bear Trap
- Effect: Toss a trap designed for hindering movement at an enemy. The enemy must make a DC 9 Dexterity save or take 0-2 Piercing damage, be restrained, and take an additional 57-76 Piercing damage over 20 seconds. An affected target can make a DC 9 Strength saving throw each round to attempt to break free early, ending the restrain effect and the damage over time.
- Cost: 2 Points
- Note: Increasing your Dexterity Modifier increases the DC of both saves by 1 and the minimum and maximum damage of the initial attack by 1. The damage over time is not affected.
Bear Trap II
- Effect: Toss a trap designed for hindering movement at an enemy. The enemy must make a DC 9 Dexterity save or take 0-2 Piercing damage, be restrained, and take an additional 72-120 Piercing damage over 20 seconds. An affected target can make a DC 9 Strength saving throw each round to attempt to break free early, ending the restrain effect and the damage over time.
