Assassin in Sword Coast Legends is an Ability tree. Dealers of death, an Assassin's sole goal is to execute their targets as quickly and efficiently as possible. Assassin abilities focus on closing quickly with their prey and striking with devastating force. Many foes do not even see an assassin's blade until it is too late.

  • Effect: Hurl a weighted dagger at a target, dealing 2-11 Piercing damage and throwing them off balance. For the next 60 seconds, the affected creature's cooldown durations are increased by 100%.
  • Type: Ranged

  • Requirements: None

  • Effect: You use your combat expertise to its fullest, throwing your opponent's defenses to the wind. The attack deals 3-18 Bludgeoning/Slashing/Piercing damage and causes them to take an additional 30% damage from Bludgeoning, Piercing, Slashing sources for 30 seconds.

  • Effect: You have become a master of death. Striking with this attack deals an initial X (your weapon's damage) Bludgeoning/Slashing/Piercing damage and forces the target to make a DC 9 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes an additional 24-99 Bludgeoning/Slashing/Piercing damage.

  • Effect: Briefly surrounded by silvery mist, you teleport up to 15 yards to a location you designate. If an enemy creature is targeted, you will attack the target, dealing 0-6 Bludgeoning/Slashing/Piercing damage.
  • Type: Teleport
  • Range: 15 Yards
  • Cooldown: 20 Seconds
  • Requirements: Level 3

  • Effect: Outsmart your enemies by flipping away and leaving behind a target dummy for them to focus their attention on. The dummy lasts for up to 20 seconds or until it is destroyed. For the next 5 seconds, you will gain a +10 bonus to stealth checks.
